Things to Do
Day TripsFor a fantastic day trip, take the Noosa Car Ferry and follow the bitumen all the way to the coastline and access the beach via the cuttings. Driving on the beach is best suited to within 3 hours either side of low tide.

Either return home down the beach or travel back via Gympie along the bitumen road, making it a great round trip. You can also do the trip in reverse accessing the beach at Rainbow Bay.
If you are going to Fraser Island you can make a trip of it by driving from the southern end of the beach from the Ferry to Rainbow Bay and then driving a few short kilometres from Rainbow Bay to Inskip Point.
